MENTOR® Tissue Expanders

Tissue expanders are used in two-stage immediate breast reconstruction surgery to expand the skin and create a shaped pocket for the breast implant to eventually occupy.

MENTOR® CPXTM4 Expander

The MENTOR® CPXTM4 Expander is designed for reconstruction and is designed to preferentially expand the lower portion of the breast, allowing surgeons to continually add saline solution via an injection dome.†,1-2

The MENTOR® CPXTM4 Breast Tissue Expander also has proprietary features including the BufferZoneTM Self-Sealing Patch that surrounds the injection dome and protects more of the expander’s surface area from accidental needle puncture.*,3
